DEAL WITH SHAME BASED MODE

8/20/25 The Lord was speaking to me during my prayer time. He told me to deal with the shame-based mode in my thought life. I was struggling with negativity in my mind because I was being attacked and constantly over thinking down about every situation. Never good enough, never perfect, and never doing anything right! Have you ever struggled with hyper critical thinking, and other a different processes? Where you identify what you’re going through and where you’re trying to get your ideas to work. Self loathing is not healthy.

The devil is busy in a mind that is anxious. He is also active in a mind that’s afraid. A mind that is hyper-critical is equally vulnerable. Noone wants to hear the devil’s voice in the background while you’re trying to make your life slow down and hear from God. He is not going to let up on anyone. We have to recognize his character and his role in our lives. There comes a time when you need to take decisive action. You need to align your head and heart on the right track by taking every thought captive.  2 Corinthians 10:5 exhorts us to demolish arguments. It tells us to challenge every pretension against the knowledge of God. We must also take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ. This verse instructs believers to capture and bring their thoughts into obedience to Christ, using spiritual rather than worldly weapons. The command is to get rid of thoughts that are against God’s knowledge. Also, actively make all other thoughts “obedient to Christ”. It means examining thinking processes and the thoughts to make sure they align with the truth of God’s Word. There is an approach to this that we must take action and apply it to our own lives. We often deceive ourselves into thinking we have done it. However, it is not always that simple. We must truly seek out the truth and not just cover up. The flesh is very unruly. If we aren’t aware, we can be misguided to believe that we are doing what God is saying.

This is a day where your heart must trust wholly in the Lord. There is too much pressure on your mind. When you dwell and live solely in your head, it can be dangerous. Staying in the Word, even when you can’t seem to focus your mind on it is essential. It will help you even if you don’t seem to retain it. The Holy Spirit can help you find a way to shift your focus and help you. I recently had this happen to me. I was sharing my heart with the Lord. I was frustrated about the hindrance and attack on my life. The distractions were coming from every angle. I cried out. I asked the Lord to give me a hunger and to break through to the assignment on my life. Dealt with the spiritual hindrance and the next morning I felt a shift. Opened the Word, and my mouth to praise and worship Him. We must press into the presence of God. He is near each of us. He also brought me a new Christian sister for fellowship.

I see that He is moved by our hearts and our honesty about our emotions. He is also moved by the spiritual warfare we experience. Recently, He gave me a Word that showed this validity. He shared He sees I have been broken and heart sick for Him. I am scattered, but He said I am doing this solely and all for Him. In other words, He is working on the healing in my mind and bringing new things into play. He acknowledged for me not to doubt that He will reward my obedience. Because He sees my heart and sees me. He affirmed that I have a purpose and a higher calling and purpose in Him. To seek Him for this. To sit here in this uncomfortable place with Him. Basically, He is using this season to dive deeper into my heart. He is reaching into areas for a new chapter to be birthed. He is making me prepared for the next season with healing and closure. See what a personal God He is?! He longs for each of us to know and become aware of His presence and character. This is a precious gift to each of us. Often times, we just need a word of comfort and validation. Sadly, many people don’t know how to say nice words to people. But, Jesus will always say the right thing to you. He is about building, and rebuilding lives!

There is a onslaught and full attack on the soul. Busyness and a unfocused mind, where you can’t seem to put words together in coherent sentences. Some of us struggle with ADHD, or spiritual burnout can also be a symptom. Others are suffering from depression and grief from the loss of a loved one. Sometimes, finding the right words to express our feelings eludes us all. Thankfully, God understands just a grunt and a tear. Our honesty can lead to a break through. God knows what you need for your life. He is there with you and aware and waiting for your return to surrendering to Him.

Father knows what he’s doing with his body. He is bringing healing, recovery and then revival. He will personalize it and make sure you’re ready for the next phase. He is always slow. He wants you to succeed. We just need to shift and move forward as He says. There are times when we aren’t hearing from Him. It is not because He is not listening but because He says, its not my time yet. I am still developing your capacity and I am working with you in the process and secret place. Much of the work is below radar, and we don’t know fully or understand the process of His healing. Especially, when there has been much trauma and wounding surrounding your life. Patterns and behaviors are hard to analyze and difficult to discern. We must allow the great counselor to make His imprint. In time, we will see the impact of His presence. We will notice His inner workings on our life. He is slow but sure. He is doing many things simultaneously. He is also setting up personal events.

Furthermore, He is opening doors for networking with people on a similar path. That He wants you to have understanding or help another going through a difficult time. There is always an explanation for what you’re going through. You may not totally understand at first. Later, it becomes apparent. You have a new thoughts and changed perspective and new perceptions for the process that was difficult to follow. It seems like an ahaha moment of clarity when it is revealed. Then you can see fully the whole thing was a set up and a blessing. All the pain was worth it. It had a great purpose. It enabled sharing with many who are experiencing a similar journey. Now you can articulate and express yourself in a way that makes it identifiable. The Lord validated your heart. He is using you. You help others find the same comfort and peace in their own heart. So the devil assignments against people on shaming them to feel guilty about things that are not true. God is a good God, and He speaks truth and He sees the heart intentions. He knows you love Him and desire to serve Him fully. But you have been bombarded with lies from the pit. They say you’ve blown it and God is mad at you. There are all other forms of lies and misleading statements. That has created a pooling of doubt and confusion in your mind. The constant condemnation and accusations penetrating the heart of a victim of abuse. The devil is very abusive and cunning. You must confront and condemn his lies and come out of any agreements with him. This is necessary to break this cycle. You must not allow the enemy of your soul to exploit your weakness when you are vulnerable. God wants your mind healed and whole. This is what the Body of Christ is contending for! Overcoming victory, from victims to victors!

His Helping hand is always reaching out to those who are hurting, broken and suffering.

He has good things in store for you. Like Job,” your foot has held on to His path, and you have treasured the words of His mouth more than necessary food. “Job 23:10-14

His spoken Words are inscribed on your heart. His written Words are too. You have endeavored to listen to His voice. You have listened to whispers in your ear.

Know He has spoken to you about His love and your life will be filled with His love for a special purpose. Verses 13-14 “But He is unique, and who can make Him turn? What ever His soul desires, He does it. For He carries out what is destined for me, and many such destinies are with Him.” He has plans for each of us. It seems to take time, and often like Abraham and Sara it seems to be beyond the ordinary. He has a time table for your assignment. He just needs you to stay steadfast and keep the faith in the process. What you are overcoming is for many others to benefit from. You will set many captives free by your own surrender and suffering. What a liberation that is coming to many in His heart. What freedom is being given by the Lord to those who have waited for His perfect timing and orchestration. We will honor the Lord. We will serve many people who have been lost. They were lost because no one took the time to listen to their heart cries. The church has been too religious to hear the call to pray and minster to the people. We must learn to to be an extension of His hand to those who are hurting. We must learn to pray effectively and pray for impact on the lives of those who are His. We must pray that He will develop our senses to become sensitive to the suffering of those around us. When we are trained, it is essential that we know it is not just for our own sake. We are taught how to minister for the benefit of others as well. We must also understand it is for the many others in our realm of influence.

We can finally move beyond our own expectations. We get involved with His agenda. His will then takes precedence over our own lives. Then we can truly be effective leaders. We can have the power of the Holy Spirit. His influence will lead many towards the intimacy of the heart of God. Then people can experience the power of His love. They can trust in His will to lead them to the right paths. He will lead through various situations and challenges. These experiences will elevate your relationship with Him. You will become emboldened to step out of the boat. You will walk on water in new territory. He will lead your journey towards a new life with Him. It makes me think of another article that He led me to write, that was inspired by Him. “ From lameness to blameless.” He is taking us from Shame to Glory. We are gaining a newfound freedom. This awakening and awareness allow us to talk to Him about all things that concern us. But do not entertain to much discussion on shame, condemnation and blame. Recognize the patterns of this kind of mindset. It is birthed out of the heart and desire of the evil influences. These influences come to assault and prey upon a wounded person. They target a mind that is not fully yielded and healed by the touch of the Master. The Lord has spoken to me regarding the need for the mind to be healed and renewed. We must allow the Lord to process and proceed to heal from within.
