Allow God His time to “process” you! Have you ever had a stain on a favorite garment you loved? You had determined to save it, and applied the soap, the water, and the spot removers. Still, it was a stubborn stain. It went deep into the fibers of the fabric! You continue to dunk it, apply some pressure with scrubbing action, some cleaning tools, more soap and another solution. Dunk and scrub on repeat. You got some of the stain out. You love that blouse and you’re willing to work with it. You give it some time. Soaking it with various stain removers, scrubbed hard until your arm hurt. You kept working at it repeatedly. Eventually, the stain gave way. Your favorite top was restored to near perfection, and you are excited to wear it again!
Doesn’t this sound like stubborn sin and strongholds you have in your life? You fight and struggle with in your heart, but can’t stop doing them. We all have a few guilty pleasures that we coddle and hold onto. God sees value in you! He loves you and your soul is worth so much to Him than a mere blouse. He is willing to scrub on you. He will chisel out the hard scales off areas in your heart. He will sculpt and shape you into a beautiful person He created you to be. He knows you have stains and areas in your heart that you hold onto for comfort.
He is wanting to restore you back to the garden with Him, to enjoy fellowship and intimacy. He wants you to know you’re worth the efforts, and you mean the world to Him. He never will give up on you! You won’t be tossed out in the bin! You feel forgotten but He says I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you!
You don’t see your value. You’ve been distracted by all the stains. The negativity, sins, and the lack of compassion further cloud your perception. You feel tossed about by your emotions. The pain others caused spoils your life with their vile words of doubt, lies, and hatred. He wants to remove all the inner workings of the old man. This way, you can find a new heartbeat for Him. He will do surgery and remove all the old wounds and replace-it with a new heart. One that is not tainted by the old man’s management, the one we have been in bondage to. You will be free and liberated by your Lord, to serve Him with all your heart, mind and strength. By surrendering your will and yielding to Dr. Jesus He will do more for you than you can imagine. God’s grace and power will ultimately triumph. He will have His creation back to the original condition. You are His own. You are remade in His own image. You are restored to Him by the redeeming blood and grace of Jesus. In this process you have become marked by Him.
1 Peter 5:10 “ After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will Himself, restore, establish, and strengthen you”.
After a season of facing many difficult times, you come back better than before! You dealt with sins, stubborn strongholds, and areas of the flesh. You appreciate the process and progress you have endured. God didn’t give up on you. Even though you were stained, He loved you through it. He helped you loosen those stubborn stains of sin from your life. You really went through a life change that you never expected. You see the value in the depths that He took you through. You know that He was with you each step. You sense there will be more things that you will experience. In these encounters, you will endure again. That you know His great love and that He is for you! He held your hand and never left you. He is a big God! You are in awe of His strength and grace, knowing you are now HIS workmanship. Forever grateful for the transformation and recovery that He gave you!!!! Praise and trust are on your lips. In your heart, you beam with newfound joy for the love of His name and His love for you. “I am My beloved’s and He is Mine is now your new declaration!”
